A surprise visit

A long-eared owl was spotted in a small mountain town in a November late afternoon. This seemingly un-shy animal flew from backyard to balcony of a number of properties, doing a spot of hunting as it went, before disappearing out of town. It's pictured here on a piece of PVC pipe, which was used as a perfect vantage point for hunting.
